Russ Sawa has lived in 5 of Canada’s provinces and takes inspiration from their natural beauty and from the meaning he finds in everyday life.
He has enjoyed drawing from his early childhood and his love of color finds place in all his works.
He has worked in all mediums but especially enjoys oil painting.
He has trained under several local artists and has moved from realism to a more impressionist form of expression.
He also enjoys practicing medicine and is often inspired by the beauty he sees in all his patients.
