Jeannine Varalta
is a Canadian Artist living in Montreal, Québec.
She studied painting and sculpture at L'École des Beaux Arts, Concordia University, Université du Québec and the Saidye Bronfman Center in Montreal, and has exhibited extensively since 1989.
Abstraction and the human body are at the core of her approach. She uses oils, acrylics and mixed media techniques to create works that are personal and evocative.
She considers Picasso her "Master".
